Lavender Is The New Pink.
The Lavender Way is a minimally invasive breast cancer treatment, with many outcomes resulting in eight year cancer free survivors.

The Lavender Way uses multiple non-radiation diagnostic modalities to try and diagnose nascent breast cancers, ideally before they have attained the capacity to spread (metastasize).
The intervals of follow-up with imaging (including standard mammography among others) were predicated on the results of OncoVue, a genetics risk assessment test that not only determined risk throughout a person’s lifetime but when that risk would likely manifest within ten years.
If a nascent tumor was indeed identified, after discussing all options offered by standard-of-care, the option of cryoablation, aka The Lavender Procedure, was offered.
This is an in-office procedure performed under local anesthesia lasting about 20 minutes. All patients resumed normal activity, including one playing 18 holes of golf. There was no need of any sutures and the breasts looked basically untouched. As well, the significant other was allowed into the procedure room to view the cancer being destroyed.
As you’ll come to understand, this changed the entire outlook from dread, anxiety and fear to one of an almost euphoric state that has lasted.

Billions have been invested in breast cancer research, yet breast cancer has no definitive cure!
The question is why there is so little improvement in treatment? Why isn’t the status quo being challenged?
These pages capture the untold story of a man’s life journey and devotion to challenging the status quo and developing The Lavender Way/Procedure. Lavender is a treatment and early detection of breast cancer without disfiguring surgery, chemotherapy, or radiation.
Twenty-eight of his forty year career were dedicated as a breast cancer surgeon/researcher. In his pursuit to pave the way for his peers to be able to put his proven methodology into practice, he was silenced and no longer a licensed M.D. Ultimately, his practice and personal life was sacrificed.
He would do it again, if it meant that women, globally, could preserve their mind, body and spirit during their breast cancer journey.
Triumph or Tragedy - you decide!
Personal Mission
“ To pave the way for others to follow and change the methodology for breast cancer treatment globally. “
“This has been a long journey that I couldn’t have done without the help of the people I had around me …
…as I say in the book, if I somehow saw things others didn’t, it’s because I stood on the shoulders of giants in my profession. Can you imagine reaching a station in life where on a daily basis you are called on to save a life and the responsibility that entails for decades on end? Being able to engage a distraught woman having just been diagnosed with breast cancer with all it portends, anxiety, fear, depression, and being able to turn her and her family around to see the light of day, my reaction is not unlike any surgeon worth his/her salt.
It’s awesome and it was very rewarding to get up in the morning to meet that challenge. The inward gratification is beyond words that is ineffable, that you were blessed with the opportunity to affect thousands of lives in a way no one else could.
In the book I hope I conveyed that feeling of exhilaration and the effort it took to do what I did. I always thought that we, as cancer doctors, we’re all in this together. That is, trying to exhaust every avenue to put the mutilation and deaths from breast cancer in the history books. Some people didn’t see it that way, no matter if I had eight-year cancer-free breast cancer survivors whose breasts look untouched and who resumed normal activity immediately after the 20 minute in-office procedure avoiding any surgery, chemotherapy, or radiation.
As gratifying as this life long quest has been, the immense void in my life now at the height of my career of not being able to care for any woman and relieve her suffering goes to the opposite extreme of any exhilaration I once felt.
But my cancer-free Lavender girls make up for my loss. At least I have them and know that going outside the box is the only way to defeat breast cancer. It was all worth it. I hope, as you have read the book, you’ll understand just what an accomplishment it was and how we totally reversed the lifelong negative emotions breast cancer causes with ‘standard-of-care’ treatment. Those feelings are all gone with Lavender and I’m glad I did it.
The significance of all this for women worldwide is that it can be performed anywhere by any trained physician without the need of a huge cancer center and all it portends for pennies on the dollar. “
